Easter Joy

The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Ah...spring is so beautiful!  What a delightful day to set a table in my garden. I know many of you are still in winter but spring is coming.
Welcome to an Easter blog hop sponsored by Chloe Crabtree of Celebrate and Decorate. Chloe has been our leader for four years. Thank you Chloe for making these hops possible. I was so excited when Chloe asked me to join but at the same time, I was nervous. I am glad I joined and it has been rewarding to meet other bloggers and table stylists. You can find the other stylist's tables at the end of this post and can view them by clicking on the links.

Hobby Lobby had the cutest bunny plates. I bought four and went back for more weeks ago, and they were all gone. I really needed them because my Texas grands surprised me with a visit this week. I checked another nearby town, and they were sold out too.
I loved all the colors on the plate, and this little girl bunny had a pretty flower crown.

It was fun to have so many colors and textures to work with starting with a woven placemat, Bordello Pinheiro cabbage chargers, pink transferware plates in four patterns and three different bunny patterns in salad plates.

After the plate stack was decided on, I remembered a king-size sheet from my mother-in-law's beach house from the '70s to use for a tablecloth. I was so pleased it worked, and the floral napkins that I had even had tulips on them. The wooden green beaded napkin rings made me happy too.  I'm always looking for napkin rings but these are an area I could improve on. I am so sorry Pier I and World Markets closed in our area.

A white wicker basket holds pink and white hydrangeas, pink tulips, and daisies. It just looked like Easter to me.
All this week, with the lovely spring weather, I have been thinking about the Monet quote, " I must have flowers always and always." Claude Monet.
The pink vintage-inspired embossed glassware by Pioneer woman has such a lovely shape with
the fluted foot.

The rabbit salt and pepper shakers I have had since my kids were little. I was so glad to have my grandchildren from Texas and north Alabama visit. I loved having children here to use my Easter things, and the kids enjoyed them.

Bunnies, eggs, and spring flowers are fun, and we all have fond memories from past Easter seasons, but Easter is really about the celebration of the resurrection of our Savior, who gave himself as a sacrifice for our sins. This old hymn says what I feel in my heart.
