Wild Azalea growing in the woods near my house. I fondly remember, talking walks in the woods near my grandparents home as a child, cutting branches from this most fragrant tree. My kitchen smells wonderful and this fragrance is so nostalgic for me.
Wisteria growing wild near my home has a etherial fragrance. I have enjoyed arranging it in several different vases and vignettes recently.
I brought these tulips all the way back home from Texas.
Purple has been speaking to me lately.
This is my DIL's gorgeous china!
This is her beautiful orchid. She has the perfect light for orchids and they do well for her.

Oh, my goodness, those pictures of the flower arrangements are just gorgeous!!! I do love fresh flowers in our home as well, but don't usually have them. I've never gotten involved with Instagram even though I am a member. Just don't want another thing to check. :o)) Happy day!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, what gorgeous flowers! The wild azalea is just so beautiful and I love it in the milk glass. Wisteria hasn’t bloomed around here, our temps have been cold this week. Of course, the purple tulips are amazing. Thanks for the sharing lovely flower therapy on this frosty morning!
ReplyDeleteYour have the perfect southern garden Bonnie and I know you love cutting and bringing the bounty inside. I love honeysuckle and the fragrance carries me back to my childhood. Your DIL’s china is beautiful and so are the results of her green thumb, the orchid looks lovely. Bonnie, each one of these flowers are just so gorgeous. That wild azalea...what a treat that must be to be able to gather on a walk in the woods. Thank you for filling my flower cup this Friday morning!
ReplyDeleteBonnie,
ReplyDeleteI love all your floral arrangements, but am partial to the wild azaleas. Then I spied those two variegated ivy topiaries! I have been searching all over town for some ivy topiaries and would love to have some like yours.
Happy Spring and happy walks in the woods,
Judith
Bonnie you are magic with flowers! Your arrangements are always so gorgeous, bringing the outside beauty into your home. Your daughter in law seems to have similar traits with the MIL. ;) Thank you for this beautiful eye candy, Bonnie. Have a wonderful weekend. blessings ~ tanna

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bonnie. Flowers really make the home seem alive. Not only beautiful but also amazing aromas. Tulips and orchids are gorgeous. Well done Bonnie. I am with you, fresh flowers for your home.
ReplyDeleteAt some point, I promised that if I ever got to the point where I had a few extra dollars I would have fresh flowers all the time. I've kept that promise and many of the blooms that fill my vases come right out of the yard which is such a gift.
