A little of this and that!


 Today, I'm posting a little of this and that. This is the dessert table from a lovely engagement party I attended recently. Look at those hydrangeas!

Wish I had gotten pics of the buffet table outside.

Visited this iconic fountain in Savannah, Georgia a few weeks ago.



There are many beautiful old homes which we viewed from a trolley tour. I would have made better pictures standing still.


Love all the architectural features.
The cast iron fences are beautiful.

Back home Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal show up  regularly at meal times much to my delight.
 Past Memorial Day barbecue.


Nothing beats an old fashioned hamburger.

I've been working very hard in my garden recently but y'all there is so much left to do!


Party food from a sweet baby shower last week. All the serving pieces and plates and cups were vintage milk glass and the flowers were gorgeous.








Here's the happy mother and grandmother to be. 
So this was a little of this and that of my life lately.
I hope all of you will have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend.  I am thankful for all those who have served and are serving in our military.  May God continue to bless America. May we always be grateful for our many blessings.

    The South is one of my favorite regions of the Country. Always so genteel, refined, beautiful, warm and welcoming. Those hydrangeas are wonderful!

    Bonnie, I have enjoyed your this and that while drinking my coffee this morning! I love that we have so much in common, we both seem to attend lots of showers and get-togethers...love the milk glass and the beautiful flowers!     Lovely recap of your recent sights and experiences, Bonnie. I love historic Savannah. That milk glass at the shower you attended - vintage love! Your garden is gorgeous. My hydrangeas are just started to bloom, should be full in another month or so. I hope you're enjoying the holiday.

    Bonnie, lovely tribute to Memorial Day with the photo of the flags and all the red, white and blue. Your patio looked lovely. We wanted to take a trip to Savannah this spring but had a lot going on and now it is to hot! Maybe in the fall. Your garden is soooo lovely and all that works shows. Gardening is never finished. Sorry I'm late but just now coming up for air after a busy long weekend......Enjoy the remainder of the week.........
