A Christmas Party

This is a party my daughter hosted. I love how she styled the desserts on her buffet and how her dining table reflected in the mirror in this picture. The desserts look delicious.

This is the kitchen table. Looks like roses, nandina berries, red alstroemeria, and aucuba foliage in the flower arrangement. Her container is the teapot from her husband's grandmother's silver service. I know the grandmother would be glad to know she is enjoying using it. I've always loved these glasses which add a little touch of whimsy.
The dining room table is set with her wedding china. The crystal goblets warm my heart as I remember a group of friends that gave her the lovely vintage goblets when she married. The Joy to the World napkins are lovely. I like the burlap runner and the placemats so the pretty burl pattern of her table shows. There is a brick shaped candle in the center of the table and the ornaments are copper, silver and gold that accent the flowers. In the corner of this room she has a silver tree on a round table with all those copper, silver and gold ornaments. It is stunning!

Are you hosting any parties this Christmas? I am having one this year when I host my Sunday School class which I hope to share later. May you enjoy and cherish time with friends and family as you attend parties and celebrations and remember the real reason we celebrate. Joy to the World the LORD has come. Let earth receive her king!
