Last Christmas, I was pleasantly surprised to be the winner of a great giveaway from Mary@ Home is Where the Boat Is. The giveaway was a sixteen piece dinnerware set of Mikasa Antique White Holiday Berries. It is a beautiful pattern and although Mary is a hard tablescape act to follow I am giving it a shot to show my appreciation as the grateful winner.
See Mary's post featuring Mikasa Antique White Holiday Berries here.
For my centerpiece, I chose a moss covered terra cotta pot filled with an amaryllis atop a wooden charger.
Rattan chargers and silverware tied with hemp cord repeated the natural elements and wood color tones.
Preserved boxwood wreaths purchased from Miss Mustard Seed at Chapel Market this November were a great addition to accent the mugs and add more natural elements as well as repeating the green in the dish pattern. There were only two left so a sweet friend helped me make two more to complete the table.
I love the detailing of the mug and it's size and shape.
Red mercury glass ornaments were given a festive hemp bow and the shiny red mercury glass ornaments show off the delightful deep bowls and salad plates.
Glitzy red and gold napkin rings and red goblets draw your eye to this elegant and versatile pattern.
I chose accessories to give this pattern a casual feel but I can see it in a formal setting also.
Goblets- At Home
Rattan Chargers- Pier 1
Wooden Charger- Homemade
Hemp Twine- Hobby Lobby
Oneida Stainless
