Mary Grace's summer garden is a treat that I am glad to share with you today. My pictures don't do my friends cottage garden justice. It was the wrong time of day to get good pictures but her talents shine through.
She is very knowledgable about gardening. I love her tuteur and other architectural features.
She has a nice collection of birdhouses perfectly placed about.
Isn't this asian lily lovely? And look at all the blooms to come!
Larkspur reminds me of my childhood. Oh, I love it!
I wanted to sit and talk for hours at her cozy sitting area.
Her confederate jasmine was huge and it's fragrance permeated her entire garden.
Delightful vignettes everywhere.
I think of dozens of questions about gardening all the time that I would like to ask my friend, Mary Grace. I taught Family and Comsumer Sciences in the same department for almost five years along side, Mary Grace. Just wished we lived in the same town so I could pick her brain more often. Thank you, Mary Grace, for allowing me to share your garden on my blog today

Mary Grace has one beautiful flower garden. I am just a bit jealous...I guess that's okay isn't it?

Oh, her gardens are enchanting! They have an English look to them. Some people have a green thumb.

What a gorgeous garden and yard! I've never grown Larkspur, but it always reminds me of the first Nancy Drew book I ever read, "Password to Larkspur Lane."
ReplyDeleteNothing smells better to me than Confederate Jasmine. Love the garden. I could sit there and read for hours.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh what a true treat! I am sure there is no better time spent that in a garden with those you love and adore.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful - Mary Grace was so sweet to allow you to share with us! She and our friend, Mona, could have fun discussing plants and I could just stand back and admire what they create - lol!!

Oh wow, Bonnie, I'm in love with this garden!! It reminds me of an English cottage garden, what do you think? I, too, have always loved larkspur. We never grew it at our house, but I've been buying it at the Farmer's Market for many years. It is a delightful, old-fashioned flower. That's the largest confederate jasmine vine I've ever seen -- wow! It must be incredibly fragrant. I can see why you love to visit your friend and sit outside enjoying her garden. Thanks so much for sharing with us, Bonnie! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
