I can't wait for scenes like this.
Maybe it won't be long. Today the ice is starting to melt because of the heat of the direct sunlight.
The sun makes the ice hanging on the trees sparkle.
Oh, I yearn for bluebirds to eat the mealworms I have planned for them in this bluebird feeder when it warms up and nest in my new bluebird house.
I think the birds are looking for water but my fountain and birdbaths are frozen.
Look what I found peeking through the snow and ice! Sweet little daffodils buds were a welcome sight. Spring is around the corner.
Maybe it won't be too long before pictures like this.
I can't wait till Spring! So ready to have the windows open and breath fresh warm air!
ReplyDeleteI hope that spring comes soon for you, this winter seems to have dragged for some reason! I realise that you would like the ice to be gone, but your photos are lovely, especially the bird table with the icicles hanging down! Your cardinal photo is lovely too. xx
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures - love the birds. Hopefully Spring will be early this year.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Mary
They're all pretty pics Bonnie! Just another month or so and things will begin to spring-up:@)
ReplyDeleteWow, you did have lots of ice. Winter is so short in Houston and despite our run of cold weather, flowering trees are blooming right on schedule.
ReplyDeleteI love little bluebirds...we don't have that many so I get so excited when/if I see them!
