Cape San Blas, Florida
Family beach trip minus son and family who live too far away to come this time. Wish you were here James, Sarah and Will.
Grandkids
I don't know who was prouder, Granddaddy or Daddy, of grandson's redfish. Redfish was 26 inches and was delicious blackened for dinner.
Great grandmother is a joy to have with us.
Our beach neighbors must be from Texas.
I am relaxing and reading David McCullough's new book, The Greater Journey-Americans in Paris. It is extremely interesting.
I am joining Wow us Wednesdays, Wayfaring Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday.
That ocean water looks so refreshing! It's nice you can vacation as an extended family. The redfish was a wonderful catch! I like McCullough's books -- I hope to get this one from the library soon!
ReplyDeleteNow this looks like a wonderful family vacation. You have all the components. Family, the house, the surf and a beautiful day.

ReplyDeleteI didn't make it to the beach this year so I have enjoyed your photos. You captured the trip perfectly. Visiting from Laura's Wayfaring Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteKeep me posted on the book! I'd love to know if it's one I should add to my list. Though now that I"m home from Maine, I'll be a much slower reader. I read like crazy up there...must be soothing about coastal air! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed some good memories with your family!
Blessings,
Linsey
