I'm getting excited it will soon be beach weather! This tablecloth has such pretty colors with a beach theme. I just had to buy it and it matches my kitchen.
I found the tablecloth at Tuesday Morning and love the way it brightens up my kitchen. I wish I had a pool because it would look great for a summer pool party.
Flour sack napkins from Wal-Mart are durable and large. Perfect for those shrimp and peel summer meals.
I'm not trying to rush the season as some of you still have snow on the ground. But these colors do lift the spirits and it doesn't hurt to do some dreaming and thinking ahead.
Dessert or salad plates from Williams Sonoma add variety and fun.
Are you planning a summer getaway near the water?
Have a great week.
P.S. I'm working on a Quimper Pottery post that I promised a while back.
Oh, I love Tuesday Morning and always leave with some treasures. Love the tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a Tuesday Morning here anymore, Bonnie....darn it! Love that tablecloth and I am ready for a little beachy-beachy myself. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWe don't have TM here either, Bonnie, but HG, TJ's and Marshalls are always fun places to find great things you did. I also have very little blue in my home and why that is I'm not really sure. It's so pretty, and your table is perfect for summer. I think I need a vacation! I have to tell you - those WM flour sack napkins are calling my name. Nothing beats a soft white napkin. Have a great week.

Love. Love. Love. every. single. thing. about this table setting, Bonnie! I'm going to have to go scan our TM to see if there is any chance of finding that beautiful table cloth AND tour WM for those napkins. LOL! The beach is definitely calling. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteThat's a great tablecloth -- and a good reminder of Tuesday Morning. (Actually, if they had that very one it might find a new home up at the cottage when we open this summer!) Whether it does or doesn't, there's always something good there! It looks fabulous on your table with that wonderful setting.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, I was browsing TM last Friday and they didn't have that tablecloth and I would have purchased it for sure.. it works so well in your kitchen. The setting has the perfect beach vibe and it is so welcoming. I would love to share a meal and conversation at this beautiful table. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteDid someone say Beach Trip? I'm ready! Your table is so pretty, Bonnie. I'm channeling the beach vibe as I type.
ReplyDeleteI spotted this at Celebrate Your Story Party and wanted to have a closer look. What a pretty beachy tablescape! Great colors. I'm always looking for new ideas to bring in a coastal look. Pinning to my tablescape board.
ReplyDeleteA great tablecloth, it works beautifully with all your treasures.

ReplyDeleteBonnie, your tablecloth is so very pretty . I love the tablescape . You always have an eye to make things beautiful . Hugs and blessings , Cindy
ReplyDeleteI'm ready to go to the beach after seeing your beautiful table, Bonnie! Your hydrangeas are so pretty as your centerpiece, too.
ReplyDeletePretty hydrangeas and gorgeous tablecloth Bonnie! I don't have much luck at at our TM but seeing your tablecloth makes me want to stop in and take a look. Love those generous sized flour sack napkins...now I'm thinking of a lowcountry boil :)
ReplyDeleteBonnie,
ReplyDeleteYour table setting puts me into the mood of creating a coastal setting also. Love all the blues in the new tablecloth and in the blue-rimmed seashell plates from Williams-Sonoma. The peek of your patio out your dining room window is inviting for an al fresco meal with your new tablecloth.

Love, love that tablecloth and the beautiful table settings! Fantastic colors! The beach is not usually on the summer time agenda as we spent so much time at the beach when we lived in Florida for many, many years...we love to head to the mountains in the summer...cooler areas!
ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie that tablecloth is just gorgeous! It's a perfect pairing with the blue glassware.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Bonnie, sorry I'm late, been on vacation and catching up after returning. This is an amazing clothe, perfect for those lazy wonderful beachy scapes. Love this blue and white, perfect for your summer entertaining. Hope you are enjoying this lovely spring. Think of you everytime I come your way to the beach............
ReplyDeleteYour summer table is just lovely. The fresh hydrangeas are perfect with the colors in the fabric.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite theme and colors Bonnie! I love your new beachy tablecloth, so pretty in your bright kitchen and with the garden hydrangeas! Hard to believe there are parts of our country that are still cold!

Our Tuesday morning closed several years ago after being open for a very short time. Your tablecloth is beautiful and makes me want to wriggle my toes in the sand and at the water's edge. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story, and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a delightful table...I love everything about it...especially the colors.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a heart for a pretty table in awhile...but you have given me a "shot in the arm" and now, I want to gather things around the Summer House and see if I can do a pretty beachy table...maybe for next week.
Thank you for your sweet inspiration. xoxo
(did I ever tell you that one of my very favorite aunts in the whole world was a Bonnie ?...Bonnie Faye, my mama's youngest sister...:)

This setting would make you feel cool on a hot summer day if you couldn't get to the beach.
